National Audio Company is the largest manufacturer of professional quality audio cassettes in the USA.
Founded in 1969, National Audio steadily grew over its first twelve years, becoming the leading distributor of Ampex recording tapes and Fidelipac broadcast cartridges for the professional market. In 1980, we began loading cassettes with Ampex tape at our Springfield, Missouri plant.
By the late 1980s, our “Audio Pro” cassettes had set the industry standard for excellence in cassette duplication. With steadily rising sales, we invested in additional production equipment and, in January 1989, relocated to a 28,000-square-foot facility. In May 1998, we expanded again into a 135,000-square-foot factory to accommodate growing demand.
In 2016, we finally began the process of formulating and manufacturing our own recording tape in-house. We currently offer three types of tape: FerroMaster C256™, FerroMaster C456™, and FerroMaster C756™.
With a long-term vision for innovation and quality in audio duplication, we are here for the long haul. We offer analog-to-digital transfers, helping businesses and individuals preserve spoken word, music, and data, as well as flash duplication for books, magazines, and other recordings. We also offer a wide range of packaging options: we imprint and label cassettes, provide custom printed inserts and materials—including Braille labels—and provide boxing, overwrapping, and mailing services. Over the years we have produced custom private-label packaged cassettes for several major brands.
